The Link

In partnership with The Link and the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota, we created a prevention campaign to help end youth sex trafficking in Minnesota. To a child, having a sense of self-esteem and self-worth makes all the difference. The same skills and strength that help them deal with a bully on the playground may help them clearly see a potentially abusive or exploitative relationship later in life. So we approached this topic by starting with the child: their beauty, their strength, their right to define themselves and own their uniqueness — promoting confidence and self-worth first. The campaign is extending to a curriculum that can be taught in schools, youth clubs and churches to help children identify and escape sexual exploitation.
